This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Dominik Ficek ("Licensor") for the Research Assistant desktop application ("Application"). By installing or using the Application you accept this EULA.
Subject to payment of the applicable one-time fee and compliance with this EULA, the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use the Application on computers you personally own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes.
You may not:
Your licence covers the current major version of the Application and all minor and patch updates within that major version, delivered through the authenticated update mechanism. Future major versions may require a new purchase.
The Application may incorporate open-source software. Those components are licensed under their respective terms (MIT, Apache 2.0, etc.) which take precedence over this EULA for those components. Notices are available in the Application's About screen or documentation.
The Application is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor disclaims all warranties. Nothing here limits statutory warranties you have as a consumer under Czech law (Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code) or EU Directive 2019/770 on digital content and digital services.
The Licensor's total liability under this EULA shall not exceed the licence fee you paid. The Licensor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
This licence terminates automatically if you breach its terms. On termination you must cease use and delete all copies of the Application.
This EULA is governed by the law of the Czech Republic.
